The agreement for using qrcodegenerator.in, the dashboard, the API and short links — including our commitment that printed codes keep working.
Who you are agreeing with
These terms are an agreement between you (or the organisation you represent) and Agochar Tech LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, with its registered office at 415 Decora Square, Sadhu Vasvani Road, Rajkot 360005, Gujarat, India. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you accept for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under the law that applies to you. The free generators on this site can be used without an account; these terms still apply to that use.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account and your workspaces, including what your team members do.
Continuity Mode, defined
This is the clause that sets us apart, so it is stated as an obligation rather than a feature.
- On cancellation
- Your plan runs to the end of the term you paid for and can be resumed until then. After that, every dynamic code enters Continuity Mode: it keeps redirecting to its last destination. Editing, targeting and new analytics stop. Buying a plan again restores control, with history intact.
- On downgrade
- A downgrade takes effect when the current term ends. Dynamic codes above the new plan’s limit enter Continuity Mode, newest first, so your oldest codes stay fully editable.
- When a term ends unpaid
- Your plan renews automatically through Razorpay or PayPal, and we remind you 7 days before each renewal. If a renewal payment fails, the plan continues at full function for 14 days while the payment is retried, then your codes enter Continuity Mode and the account moves to the free plan.
- When the free month ends
- The free plan lasts 30 days from sign-up. Static codes keep working forever, because their content is in the code itself. Dynamic codes enter Continuity Mode and the account becomes read-only until you choose a plan.
- The exceptions
- Continuity Mode protects you from billing outcomes, and from deleting your account unless you choose to delete its codes too. It does not apply to a code suspended for abuse, or to a code you delete.
Plans, payment and taxes
Prices are on the pricing page, in rupees or dollars, and include or add GST as the invoice shows. Payments in rupees are taken by Razorpay and in dollars by PayPal; card and account details go directly to them and never reach us. Your plan is a subscription that is charged each month or year until you cancel; rupee renewals use the card or UPI Autopay mandate you approve at checkout. We issue a GST tax invoice for every payment.
We may change prices for new subscriptions. A plan you have subscribed to keeps renewing at the price you subscribed at, and a change never affects a term you have already paid for.
Refunds are covered by the refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
What you must not do
Do not use the service for phishing, malware, fraud or impersonation — in particular of a bank, wallet or payment institution — or for content that is illegal where it is distributed, infringes someone else’s rights, or harms children. Do not use hosted forms to collect passwords, card numbers or one-time codes. Do not try to break, overload or get round the limits of the service, or resell it without an agreement with us.
Destinations are checked when a code is created or edited and re-checked every week. A code whose destination a threat-intelligence provider reports as malicious is suspended automatically and shows a warning page instead. The abuse policy has the detail, the response times and how to appeal.
Your content
You own what you create and upload. You give us a licence to host, copy, display and process it only as needed to run the service for you. You confirm you have the rights to it, and that the destinations you point codes at are lawful. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law, and under the IT Rules 2021 we act on valid orders and complaints within the time those rules set.
Payment QR codes: what we are and are not
We generate payment links and print files from the details you enter. We are not a bank, a payment aggregator, a payment service provider or a third-party application provider. We hold no money, settle no payments and never hold a signing key. Check the payee details in every payment code before you print or share it — a code encodes exactly what was typed.
AI features
AI features suggest content and form values. You review and confirm them before anything is saved. AI never generates or changes the data encoded in a code, and AI output can be wrong: you are responsible for what you publish.
Availability, warranties and liability
We work to keep the redirect path — the one your printed codes depend on — running at all times, but self-serve plans carry no service-level commitment; enterprise agreements can. The service is provided as it is and as available. A scanability report is a measurement, not a guarantee that a code will scan; the disclaimer explains what we do and do not promise about the codes we produce.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or reprinting costs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
You will compensate us for claims by others arising from your content or your breach of these terms.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel your plan or delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it. On closure for abuse, Continuity Mode does not apply to the codes involved.
Law, disputes and grievances
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Rajkot, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim where you live.
Our grievance officer under the IT Rules 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 is Rajesh Dalsaniya, Grievance officer and CEO, Agochar Tech LLP, 415 Decora Square, Sadhu Vasvani Road, Rajkot 360005, Gujarat, India. Email [email protected], telephone +91 86986 76976. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days; a complaint about personal data is resolved within the DPDP Rules’ limit of 90 days at the latest.
Changes to these terms
We will post changes here with a new effective date, and tell account holders by email at least 30 days before a change that reduces their rights takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change; if you do not, you may cancel, and any refund is under the refund policy.
