EDIT AFTER PRINTING · NEVER STOPS RESOLVING

Dynamic QR code generator

One code, a destination you can change forever. Ours prints smaller than most because the payload is 22 characters, and it keeps redirecting even if you cancel.

Set the destination
Change this whenever you like. The printed code never changes.

22 characters — stays at version 2, the smallest reliable print size.

The short code becomes yours in the app

The code beside it is real — the same encoder ships in the product, and the short link is what it encodes. What an account adds is the half a page cannot hold: the short code is reserved to you, the destination is stored against it, and changing that destination later changes where the printed code goes.

5 dynamic codes are included free, and a printed code keeps resolving after a plan ends.

Static or dynamic

Static is free and permanent but fixed. Dynamic is editable and measurable, and prints smaller. Pick by whether the destination will ever change.

WHY OURS PRINTS SMALLER

A shorter domain is a smaller code

A dynamic code encodes a short link, so its length is fixed by the domain, not by your destination. Shorter domain, lower QR version, less print area for the same reliability.

qrrd.in/a8K92x22 chars · v2 · 25×25Prints reliably from about 17mm. This is what we use.
short.example.com/a8K92x32 chars · v3 · 29×29Needs roughly 19mm for the same reliability — about 25% more area.
links.mybusiness.co.in/a8K92x37 chars · v3 · 29×29A custom domain is worth it for trust, but budget the extra print area.

There is also an uppercase mode — QRRD.IN/A8K92X — which triggers alphanumeric encoding and packs about 35% denser. We offer it rather than defaulting to it, because uppercase reads worse in print.

What you get once it is dynamic

Versioned destination history

Every change is kept with a diff and a note. Roll back to any earlier version in one click, and see who changed what.

Scheduled changes

Set a destination to switch at a date and time — a menu that changes at 5pm, a campaign that ends at midnight.

14 targeting dimensions

Device, OS, OS version, browser, continent, country, region, city, language, time of day, day of week, date range, scan sequence, referrer. With a simulator that tells you which rule wins.

Print-location tags

Label each code with where it physically is — "Table 4, Andheri branch" — so a dead code is a place you can walk to.

Destination health monitor

We check your destinations and email you within 30 minutes if one starts failing. A broken link behind a printed code is invisible otherwise.

Weekly threat re-scanning

Every active destination is re-checked against Safe Browsing and PhishTank weekly, not just at creation.

Gates before the destination

Put a password, an age check or an email capture in front of a code, served at the edge in under 30ms. The scanner sees your page, not an interstitial ad — there is never advertising in the scan journey.

Weighted A/B split

Send one printed code to two to five destinations at weights you set, rolled fresh on every scan. Change the weights whenever you like; the code on the wall does not know and does not care.

CONTINUITY MODE

The reason to trust a dynamic code on paper

A dynamic code depends on a service staying up. That is the category's real risk, and the honest answer is a guarantee about what happens when things go wrong.

Tracked-scan limit
The redirect continues at full speed. Analytics pause until the month resets or you upgrade, and you are told.
Plan downgraded
Codes above the new limit keep redirecting to their last destination, permanently. Editing, analytics and targeting stop.
Subscription cancelled
All dynamic codes enter Continuity permanently. Reactivating restores full control.
Payment failed
14 days of grace at full function, then Continuity — never a dead code.
Account deleted
An explicit choice: keep the codes resolving in Continuity, or hard-delete with a typed confirmation.

One stated limit, published upfront: a code with zero scans for 24 consecutive months may be archived, after two email notices. An unqualified "forever" we later walk back would be worse than that.

Dynamic QR code questions

What happens to my dynamic codes if I stop paying?

They enter Continuity Mode and keep redirecting to their last destination, permanently and at full edge speed. You lose editing, analytics and targeting until you reactivate. Nothing on paper stops working.

Can I turn a static code into a dynamic one?

Only where it was created with a short URL in the first place. A static code encodes its destination directly, so the printed pattern cannot be repointed — that is the trade for it being permanent and offline.

Why is a dynamic code smaller than a static one?

Because it encodes a 22-character short link instead of your real URL. A 120-character campaign URL needs version 6 and roughly twice the print area; the short link stays at version 2 no matter how long the destination gets.

How fast is the redirect?

Under 30ms at p95, served from over 300 edge locations. Analytics are written after the redirect has already happened, so measurement can never slow down a scan.

Do you set cookies when someone scans?

No cookies on the redirect path, and we never store a raw IP address. Geo is derived at the edge from request headers and the address is discarded before the event leaves.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, from Pro upwards, with automatic TLS. Worth knowing that a longer domain raises the QR version — the comparison above shows what that costs in print area.
